How To Custom Order
This is the INFO section where you will find everything you need to know about the ordering process. Also listed under this menu tab is ring sizing, completion times, metal & stone options, and warranty information!
HOW TO CUSTOM ORDER
Click on the Custom Products tab found at the top of my home page. Here you will find a variety of listings for custom products. In the description you will find some info on the product and some design options. Keep in mind you are not limited to only these options or only the products pictured. There may be certain things I cannot do on a particular product, but I will always try to accommodate your custom requests! That being said, remember each and every piece is hand made, by me personally, and so no 2 pieces are every exactly the same!
The purchase price of each product is just the DEPOSIT. Starting prices are listed in the description. Remember, each and every piece will vary in price with different sizes and customizations. Each added detail will increase the price. After you pay the deposit, and when it is time for me to start your order, we will discuss your design requests and I can give you an exact price before starting. If the price is not suitable, we can re-design the product to fit your budget. It will likely not be below the starting price listed in the description though, and so if you cannot pay the balance due when I am ready to start, your order will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.
Once you find the custom product you are wanting, you will need to put it in your cart and pay the deposit. In the cart you will see a tab that says "Add a note to your order". Please click on that and add a brief summary of your design ideas and customizations you are wanting. OR you can send this to me after placing your order on instagram, facebook, or email. These ideas will not need to be concrete and will not be set in stone, it just helps me have an idea of what you are looking for and how much time I will need to allow for your order. If you are ordering a ring, PLEAE INCLUDE YOUR EXACT RING SIZE. See further ring size info below!
AFTER CHECKOUT
So you've paid a deposit to hold you spot for a custom order, now what??
Please wait patiently for your turn! Read the Completion Times page for further details!
IT'S NOW YOUR TURN!
A week or 2 before I am ready to start your order, I will be in contact! At this time I will ask for your concrete design ideas. You will have 48 hours to get back to me. If there has been a family emergency or for some reason you don't have time to give me your design ideas, you will AT LEAST need to send me a quick note saying so. If I do not get ANY response within 48 hours, your order will be cancelled and your deposit WILL NOT be refunded.
So after I get in contact and you get me your design ideas, we can spend the next day or two finalizing everything (see below for finalizing details) and then I will give you the balance due. I will send an invoice for that remaining balance, and you will have an 24 hours to pay. If the invoice is not paid within 24 hours, your order will be cancelled.
FINALIZING YOUR DESIGN
When I contact you saying it is your turn and ask for your design ideas, just send me the best description possible of what you are wanting. If you ordered a ring, I prefer the ring size in the checkout notes when you pay your deposit but if you did not include it, I will need it now. Please read the Ring Sizing page for more details.
We can further discuss the design and exchange pictures if needed. I will tell you if what you want is possible, and if not send other options. The customization area on my pieces is limited, it can often include figures like a ranch brand, intials, lettering, simple logo, cross, heart, etc, but some requests for figures cannot be accommodated due to spacing limitations. You will need to send me a picture or simple sketch of the brand, figure, etc you are wanting on your custom piece.
Here are some examples of a description you could give me: Sterling silver ring, dotted edges, my brand in the center, with engraved sunflowers on each side, size 8.
OR: Copper mens cross, around 2" tall, with initial EP in the center, a turquoise stone on each side of initals, and engraving on the rest of the cross.
